Ralph Peeker - Professional Musician, Chief Physician & Professor in urology, & Excellent Teacher

In this episode meet Professor Ralph Peeker, an extraordinary individual living an extraordinary life. 

Ralph Peeker is a musician marking 50 years as a professional in the field on April 1st. Alongside his musical career, he serves as the Chief Physician and Professor of Urology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Göteborg, Sweden, celebrating his 50th semester in the role 2024. Notably, he is acknowledged as an Excellent Teacher, a distinction he considers more challenging to achieve than the professorship. He ardently supports his students and colleagues across all levels of their work. Ralph anticipates retiring from his professional commitments in three to four years, aiming to focus more on music.

Eurovision 1987. Sweden’s entry,  Boogaloo (in Swedish Fyra bugg och en coca-cola) the singer was Lotta Engberg. Ralph Peeker was one of the backup singers, and guitar player.
